Ice with a little Snow

We have been trying to keep ourselves occupied during "Winter Storm 09". We have made chili, baked cookies, read lots of books and played, played, played! Daddy got to stay home yesterday with us. It has been fun. I love the opportunities God gives us to slow down and just have fun and enjoy each other! Thank you.

This is Emily re enacting the scene from Polar Express when the boy sticks his face in the snow trying to wake up. She quoted his lines as she did it.
Fun in our indoor tent. We have read many books under here the last few days.
