Busy Doesn't Describe It...

So this is my busiest week this month until the last weekend, when we move. If I have hair next Monday, it will be a miracle :-) !!!

Emily and I went to the dentist again, and this time I remembered my camera. She did so great!!! She actually likes the dentist. But when you can recline and watch tv in the ceiling, who wouldn't.

We started VBS today. We spent most of yesterday decorating my room. Emily gets to particpate as a "student" this year. She marched right up to her pew this morning ready to go! What happened to my little baby? She was very excited and had a great time. She is ready for it to be tomorrow so she can go again! We are studying Creation. They did the most awesome black light play. So Fun!!

Excited to be at VBS

Creation glow in the dark style
Our new house is making progress. They are running all the electrical and plumbing lines. Soon we will have a slab.

Well, this is just the tip of the iceburg. Got to get back to being busy!

Next...Gap...just kidding

Here is Emily's modeling debut (and probably last). We got a desperate call from the OC art department a month ago. They were working with the State Chamber of Oklahoma's Prosperity project. The original girl was not in the mood to have her picture taken that day apparently and when Mia wasn't available we got the call. I was a little hesitant, but it ended up being a fun time. She had fun wearing makeup and being adored. Who wouldn't. So, remember to register to vote!!!!

We're Moving...

Most know by now, but the formal announcement is being made, we are moving! Twice!!! AHHH!!!!! A few weeks ago we decided to build a new house. Two weeks ago we put our house on the market, last week we had a contract, this week the inspection was finalized and in three weeks we will be moving to an apartment because our house will not be finished until October, hence the moving twice. We are excited but a little overwhelmed. Did I also mention June has become the busiest month ever!!! This month not only do I need to pack, have the inevitable moving sale, close on my house and move to an apartment all the while helping my kids adjust to so many changes, I have to go to a wedding, teach VBS for MRCC, coordinate preschool VBS for Capital Hill church of Christ, help Summer with the annual Special Missions contribution dinner, go to a planning luncheon for DC4K this fall and get my new puppy spayed! If I look like a deer caught in the headlights, please know I should be fine after Independence Day, which for me will have more than one meaning this year. Oh, and if you are nearby when someone ask me to do something else, please make sure I say no, say no for me, knock me out so I can't say anything, do whatever it takes so I don't say yes. Thank you!
