Daddy's Little Princess

I love it when my sweet girl and her Daddy go on dates. I love how much she admires him and loves to be with him and how he is showing her how a guy is supposed to treat her. They have such a special relationship and it started the moment she looked into his eyes after she was born and he said, "Hi baby girl, we love you!" She wrapped herself around his heart and there is no letting go. This is an awesome duo!

Going to Beauty and the Beast at the Pollard,
blankie sneaks in as a shawl ;-)

Out with Dad while Mom and C are at Western Night

Ready for a Night of Royal Pampering at the MRCC Princess Tea
oh, my heart melts!!!!

On a side note, my how much she had changed over the summer. The first pic was in April and the last was just a few weeks ago. No more age progressive photos, brings me to tears!

Swim Time

I love the water. The lake, the ocean, the pool... I just love being around water. I remember swimming for hours as a child; sun up to sun down when I could. So it has been so much fun seeing my babies learn to swim and enjoy the water. Emily had her second year of swimming lessons and Cadon started this year. Emily was swimming on her own at the end of lessons and Cadon, beside splashing a lot, learned to swim some too! He loves jumping in the best.

We have been to the lake once this summer and Emily loves tubing. I didn't get a picture, but she went out with daddy and had a blast.

I sit in awe sometimes that these are my little blessings from God. I am a Mom, is that possible? Time is going by so quickly with them I am soaking up every minute I can. I just brought them home and now they are learning so much and doing so much!!! I love you munchkins!!!

VBS Tour 2009

My kids, especially Emily, love Vacation Bible School. So much so they went to four this summer. We started with ours at MRCC, went to Capitol Hills a couple of nights while Mom and Dad taught, on to Edmond CC, and then finished the tour with Grammy and Pappou in Texas. Oh the stories they can tell!

We are still here

I thought I would take a moment and post before it reaches the two month mark since my last post. The past two months have been busy yet fun and almost a blur for everything that has gone on. We are still here, doing well, and hopefully I can carve out some time this week to post a quick synopsis of all that has happened.
