When Cadon was born he had a head of dark hair. A few weeks later it fell out and he had peach fuzz. When his hair grew back in it was so blond it bordered on white which is what is has been for the last four years and I love it on him, although I knew it wouldn't last forever. Lately the crown of his head as started getting darker, like a dark blond. The other night, however, as he was lying on my lap, I found this:

Sonshine School Program
Last week Cadon had his last performance at Sonshine School. He has been singing his songs for months now. His class was the Honey Bees so they sang a honey bee song and 1-2-3 Jesus Loves Me. He did great!! I can't believe this sweet boy is headed for Pre-K.

Blessed
I am blessed. These two children and the man behind the camera bring so much joy and happiness to my life. When life brings it challenges, I rest in the comfort of this family and the God who made it all possible. I cannot begin to express my thankfulness to them for making my Mother's Day so wonderful this year. For making me smile and laugh when I needed to the most. I praise God for you and I am so glad He made us a family!

Tumbling Show
Emily took tumbling this year. She had a great time and Saturday was the day to show off. Her perfomance was a hit and she enjoyed her few moments in the spotlight. I tried to upload to video, but it is too large and I am not sure how to compress it. We'll bring it to show the grandparents sometime!
Ready to perform

Another Year!
When it comes to my children, time stands still and flies by at the same time. I remember precious moments like they were yesterday, but then I am also completely amazed when another birthday rolls around and they are another year older.
Cadon is 4. How did that happen? At the same time I shed a tear, I love watching him learn, grow and become the person God has planned for him to be. Cadon, you are the sweetest little boy. I love when you crawl up in my lap and snuggle, I love how you say "Mommy, Daddy, I love you". I love how you adore your sister. You have such a giving heart. I know God has great plans for you and I can't wait to help you grow into them!
Here is our celebration of our little man:
