The day we have anxiously and nervously awaited arrived and went smoothly. Emily has been anxiously awaiting the first day of Sonshine School. This girl loves it!!! She asked me last week if she was going to learn at Sonshine School and I said, "yes". She cheered with excitement! I hope this enthusiasm last the next 13+ years.
I nervously approached yesterday since it was Cadon's first time to go to Sonshine School. He did great! There was about a literal second of tears, but when he saw the toys he ran over and didn't look back. He napped, we had to wake him up to leave. What a change from my non-napping daughter.
Randon took the morning off to take them the first day, but then decided to take the whole day off. We had several things to do and it made it easier and fun to do it kid free and spend the day together. It was so much fun I think we will start the tradition of taking the day for us when they go back to school!
After school we went and celebrated with ice cream. What a fun full day!
Ready to Go
It is time for school

Going together

Can't get in fast enough!

Side note. I have
mentioned how much
Cadon LOVES his Cars shoes. Last night I put them on his dresser behind a puzzle box when he was brushing his teeth. I also picked up some books and put them in his chair. When I went to check on him before I went to bed, I noticed the books on the floor.
Hmm, odd, but he must have looked at them and then got back into bed. Wait, the chair has moved further down the wall. As I check on him I notice that he is wearing the shoes to bed. He took the books out of his chair, moved the chair to his dresser, got the shoes, put them on and moved the chair back to its approximate
position. Sneaky boy!
