My Ladybug and Skeleton

My munchkins picked their own costumes this year and we spent a grand total of $10 since we had almost everything on hand.  We had a fun time trick or treating and handing out candy with friends.  I love fall for the leaves, the crisp air and the joy of all the holidays!  I love seeing the smile on my kids faces.  They had a grand time this year!!!

of course pumpkin carving is fun and roasted pumpkin seed yummy!

CELEBRATE!!!!

Six years ago today, I knew my life was going to change forever.  Randon and I drove to the hospital just the two us, but we would come home as three.  I was excited, nervous and anxious all at the same time.

The moment I saw my sweet firstborn, I was in love.  I praised God for this beautiful little miracle he had blessed us with.  I have done that every day since too.

Sweet E you bring so much joy into our lives.  I understand the love of God better because of you.  I love more because of you.  My life changed for the better the moment you were born.  I am so honored God gave us you and I get to be your mom.

We celebrate you today sweet girl!  You are AMAZING!!!!

Soccer Boy

My little man has watched his sister dance and tumble for a couple of years and has asked to do something, but not quite sure what.  We were not sure either.  Sports for young kids intimidates me for several reasons.  For us to jump into this it had to be the perfect situation.  That situation knocked on our door, almost literally.  Our wonderful neighbors decided to coach a Y team (non competitive) with a great group of boys and parents.  His first game was Saturday and he had so much fun.  He ran and ran, actually got the ball at one point.  He was proud to be involved in an activity and is ready for his next game. We are so proud of you C!!!! I am a bit concerned about my food bill now though.   Saturday night the boy at 3 hot dogs.

RED

Emily's class is reviewing the colors.  Her teacher sent home a sheet with what day they will be going over specific colors and today's was red and to make it fun they can wear that color to class.  Going through her closet last night I realized that the only red she has is a big fluffy pettiskirt.  Now this is cute and all, but not really kindergarten dress for school and especially playing on the playground.  Not wanting to let her down, I whipped up a quick "red outfit" for her to wear today.  New red bow, new shirt with red in it, and a new denim skirt made out of a pair of jeans with a hole in the knee.  Only 1hr of work for a fun new outfit!  Knock him dead with red little girl!!!!

Ice Cream

After the first day of school one must celebrate, so we have made it our yearly tradition (since the early sonshine school days) to go out for ice cream.  We look forward to this each year and had a fun time eating good ice cream (or yogurt as the case may be) and looking forward to a GREAT year!!!!
