Cadon is 2!!!!

Here is a preview of the big occasion. We had a great day Saturday celebrating this little guy's 2nd birthday, which amazes me because he was just born, right? Here he is with his Thomas balloon, which apparently only lasted for a few minutes before they blew away (so frustrating). Oh well. He had a good day with cake, presents, and family. More pictures to come soon. Apparently we only got video, so I am waiting on pics to from Grammy and Pappou to arrive this weekend and will post them. I would upload video, but I still need to get a firewire cord. Happy Birthday Cadon!!!

Daddy's Home!!!

Randon got home this morning. The week went by pretty quickly, we kept ourselves busy!
We were all very excited to see him. We worked on a banner last night and held up our sign at the airport to greet him when he walked out of the terminal. The kids had a lot of fun at the airport and we are thankful he had a good trip and is home safely.

Emily hard a work decorating the banner.

Kids at Play

I bought a hopscotch mat this week and the kids have loved it. Emily understands the concept (thanks to Kayla!) and Cadon just loves dancing across it his way! Kids are so much fun!

Of course the mat is good to drive cars on too! What a great road!

When I went to get Cadon up from his nap yesterday, this is what I found.

Too Cute!!!

You May Be Wondering......

if you saw both Elizabeth and myself at church this morning, you may be wondering if we are going to be sharing some "news" soon, since we were wearing the same dress. The answer is no, we are not expecting a third Rieger baby. Elizabeth looks so great, she can still wear non maternity clothes! I wanted to quelch rumors before they went to far! However, I may quit drinking the water in Edmond, it seems everyone we know is expecting right now. We pray for healthy babies for them all.

On My Own

So, after almost six years of marriage, Randon has his first business trip that takes him away from home for a week. He leaves Sunday afternoon and comes back Friday. This will almost double the time we have been away from each other. If you have any advice on how to get through the week in the evening (when I am eagerly anticipating his arrival around 5) and be a single mom for a week, let me know!

EASTER!!!

For the Love of Chocolate

This boy loves chocolate. After Emily's Easter party at school last Thursday (which was not supposed to include chocolate) Cadon found a Milky Way bar in her Easter bag. I wasn't too worried, because I didn't think he could open it. Wrong. On the way to Target after school, he opened the wrapper and had it eaten before I got to a parking space. Do you think he was proud of that and enjoyed every last bite? Hide your chocolate when we come over!
